Invitation to Bid – Ambulance

The County of Union, Illinois is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of a new Type I ambulance.  Prospective suppliers must comply with all KKK-A-1822F Federal Ambulance Specifications or updated regulatory requirements as well as all Illinois Department of Public Health directives.  Prospective companies can obtain bid specifications and drawings by contacting Director Grant Capel at the Union County Ambulance Service located at 204 West Mississippi St. Jonesboro, Illinois.  Questions can be directed to our business office phone (618) 833-2871 during regular business hours.  Sealed bids will be received until 4PM Thursday May 11, 2017 in the Union County Clerk’s office located at 309 West Market St. Room 116 Jonesboro, Illinois 62952, care of Mr. Terry Bartruff County Clerk.  Sealed Bids should be marked “B-2017-Ambulance” and include your company name.  Bids will be opened during a regularly scheduled Union County Commissioners meeting on Friday May 26, 2017 beginning at 8:30 AM.  Union County reserves the right to award the lowest responsive bid, accept or reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make an award deemed in its best interest.
