Sikeston, Missouri Man Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Possession of Methamphetamine
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Jimmy R. Farmer, Jr. (DOB 09-04-1977) of 1329 McDouglas Drive in Sikeston, Missouri has been sentenced to four (4) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 2 Felony. Farmer was arrested on April 28, 2011 in Anna by Union County Sheriff’s Deputies after purchasing pseudoephedrine pills at an Anna retailer. Farmer was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and admitted to Sheriff’s deputies that the pills were purchased for purpose of producing methamphetamine.
