VOTER PARTICIPATION CENTER (VPR) MAILING
TO ALL ILLINOIS CITIZENS NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE

ILLINOIS – Union County Clerk Terry Bartruff announced today that all Election Authorities were recently advised by the Illinois State Board of Elections of a mailing that has gone out from Voter Participation Center, (VPA), Chicago, Illinois, to all non-registered voters in the State of Illinois. This mailing contains a letter from the VPA and a voter registration form with the name and address of each applicable Election Authority for their reference should they wish to register to vote. Since these notices are not originating from our office, but from an outside organization, there may be a possibility that some may go out to those who are already registered to vote, those who have moved, as well as those who have passed away.

“We want to let all residents in Union County who receive this mailing know that our offices will process all such voter registration forms properly completed and forwarded to our office.” said Bartruff. He continued, “We have been advised by the State Board of Elections that this is a legitimate company operating as a non-government, nonprofit, and nonpartisan 501 (c)(3) organization.”

If the public or media has any questions about this mailing, you are asked by the VPA to please contact them at their office at 27 N. Wacker Dr. #710, Chicago, IL 60606, or phone them at 877.255.6750. The VPA indicates that if anyone wants to be removed from their mailing lists to contact them at:  info@thevoterparticipationcenter.org.
